TOO BAD! 42-Year-Old Pharmacist Allegedly Drugs And Rapes A Boy At The National Hospital

Abubakar Danraka, an Imam, who is also the Chief Pharmacist at the National Hospital, Abuja, has been arrested for allegedly drugging and raping a 12-year-old boy.

The 42-year-old PhD holder is also the Special Assistant (Technical) to the Director-General of the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD), Abuja.

According to the National Agency for The Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP):

“The resident of Spring Valley Estate, Abuja, was arrested after he had anal sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old boy on the 21st of March, 2020.

The suspect allegedly gave the unsuspecting boy a glass of water laced with drugs, he then forcefully had intercourse with him and warned him not to disclose it to anybody.

Upon reaching home, his mother noticed he was uneasy and queried him, which led to him opening up on what happened. She and the father rushed him to the National hospital, Abuja, where he was admitted.

The victim was discharged on Thursday 26th of March, 2020,. Meanwhile, the suspected denied committing the crime, however, the evidence gathered suggests he is guilty of the offense.

Subsequent investigation at the home of the suspect also corroborated the narration of the victim especially with the colors of the furniture in the suspects’ sitting room as well as the setting of the place.”
