The celebration of President Bola Tinubu’s first anniversary in office will be on a low-key, according to Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris.

This decision, he explained, reflects the current circumstances in the country.

Idris made this announcement on Wednesday during a World Press conference held to mark the occasion.

He was accompanied by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu.

The Minister emphasised that the low-key celebration was a deliberate choice in response to prevailing national conditions, underscoring the administration’s sensitivity to the nation’s challenges.
