The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Dr. Sam Amadi has stated that Nigeria has become more authoritarian following the declaration of Bola Tinubu as president-elect.
He stated this in a statement contained in a post via his Twitter handle on Monday.
Amadi lamented that the development is frightening.
Amadi further alleged that what he described as a “form of political illegitimacy” was responsible, and that it brings anxiety.
He wrote, “It is frightening that Nigeria has become more authoritarian since @officialABAT was declared President-Elect. Nothing explains this irony than a certain form of political illegitimacy and the anxiety it brings.”
