Tinubu Receives Super Eagles At Aso Villa, Decorates Them With The Member Of The Order Of Niger (MON) Title And Gifts Them Houses, Lands In FCT

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received the Super Eagles and Members of Team Nigeria at the State House Council Chambers today February 13.

 

The President during their meeting awarded all members of the Team Nigeria and the Super Eagles, the Member of the Order of Niger (MON).

President Tinubu also presented the team and the Super Eagles one flat in Nigeria and a plot of Land in the Federal Capital Territory as a sign of gratitude for their service

President Tinubu thanked the players and team Nigeria for their resilience and for lifting the spirit of the nation through their matches. He said it’s not easy to absolve a loss but the Super Eagles demonstrated Sportsmanship and a can-do attitude. He also stated that he is very proud of them.

The Super Eagles who finished second at the just concluded AFCON 2023 held in Ivory Coast, arrived in Nigeria via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja in the early hours of today February 13.
