President Bola Tinubu has left Abuja for a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom, marking part of his annual leave. The president departed from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Wednesday at around 2:30 p.m.
Top government officials, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, and Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, were present at the airport to bid him farewell. The president is expected to spend the next two weeks resting and attending to personal matters during this brief break from his official duties.
Tinubu’s vacation comes after a busy period of governance and international diplomacy, including his recent engagements at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
