Thunderbolt Kills Man In Benin

A man whose name was simply given as Edafe was reportedly killed by a thunderbolt in Benin City, today.
Igbere TV reliably gathered that the incident happened during a ‘misery rainfall’, which lasted for only a few minutes.

He was said to be working in a building site with others around the Cattle Market in Asoro Hill, Ekehuan Road when the rain started leading to them taking refuge in a nearby uncompleted building.

The thunderbolt was said to have displaced all of them as it stroke leaving Edafe dead instantly.

As at the time of filing this report, the corpse was yet to be evacuated by men of the Nigerian police force.
