The Only Thing Christ Dismissed For Being Fruitless Was A Fig Tree’- Daddy Freeze Reacts To Oyedepo’s Response

Controversial OAP and Free The Sheeple leader, Dady Freeze has reacted to the dismissal of over 40 pastors by the General overseer of Living Faith Ministries, Bishop David Oyedepo.

A few pastors had taken to social media to claim that they were sacked because they were not generating enough income for the church.

Winners Chapel founder, Bishop David Oyedepo addressed the dismissal during a sermon in his church on Thursday July 22, stating that the pastors were laid off because they were ”unfruitful and blatant failures”.

In an apparent reaction to the reasons Oyedepo gave for the dismissal of the pastors from his church, Daddy Freeze pointed out that the only thing Christ categorized as being unfruitful was a tree.

Freeze in a post shared on his Instagram page backed his submission by quoting Matthew 21:19 which reads

”Matthew 21:19

New International Version

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.”
