The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced name of student who scored the highest mark in this year’s 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Speaking on Thursday, JAMB revealed that an Ekiti State indigene by the name Adebayo Eyimofe scored the highest mark.
He was followed closely by Ugwu Chikelu, an indigene of Enugu state who also wrote his UTME in Abuja. Ugwu scored 359.
This was disclosed during the 2022 policy meeting of the board currently holding at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
According to a presentation by the registrar of the board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Adebayo who wrote his examination in Abuja, scored a total of 362 marks.
Other high scorers include Igbalaye Ebunoluwa 357; Emmanuel Oluwanifemi 357; Ozumba Samuel 357; Olumide-Attah Ayomide 355; Lawal Olaoluwa 355; Dokun Jubril 354; Amaku Anthony 354 and Aghulor Divine 353.
