Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has accused the Nigeria Football Federation of abandoning Ex-Nigerian International, Daniel Joshua, who has been bedridden for 15 years.
The politician, who paid a visit to Joshua, said he sustained a spinal cord injury as a result of the car crash that happened when he was driving to the Minna Eagles camp at the invitation of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The former lawmaker claimed that the Niger State Government under the leadership of Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu paid for his treatment to a certain point and then stopped. He also said the NFF gave him 500k and abandoned him to his fate.
Taking to Twitter, Shehu appealed to the new Kaduna State Government and the new leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation to come to the aid of Daniel Joshua, who played for the Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles.
