Semedo Leaves Barcelona For Wolves

Barcelona has confirmed that defender, Nélson Semedo, has left the club to join the EPL side, Wolves ahead of their La Liga tie with Villarreal on Sunday.

Wolves will pay Barcelona 30 million euros plus 10 million more in variables for Semedo’s signature.

Barcelona made this known in a statement through the club’s official website on Wednesday.

The statement read: “FC Barcelona and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Nélson Semedo. The English club will pay 30 million euros plus 10 more in variables.

“FC Barcelona would like to publicly express their gratitude to Nélson Semedo for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future.”

Semedo made 122 appearances in three seasons for Barcelona.

The Portugal international joined Barcelona in 2017 from Benfica.
