The Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Chikwe Ihekeazu has advised Nigerians to maintain social distancing and keep to the guidelines of the agency or risk another lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking at the presidential task force briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja on Monday, May 4, the NCDC DG admitted that new cases of Coronavirus may arise from non-compliance of health guidelines in some parts of the country where the total lockdown was lifted.
