Records And Documents Were Not Affected By Fire – WAEC Revea

The Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), said the fire that engulfed its head office today, October 26, did not affect the documents and records store.

A statement from the examination body stated that the fire that engulfed its facility in Lagos has been put out by a combined team of firefighters, adding that no life was lost in the inferno and all important records remain intact.

A statement by the Head, Public Affairs Department, Moyosola Adesina, reads: “WAEC wishes to inform the general public that there was an early morning fire incident at the WAEC National Office, Yaba, Lagos.

“It was swiftly contained by a combined team of firefighters.
“Thankfully, no life was lost and all important documents and records are intact.”
