On March 11, 2011 GIO TV gathered that Oluwo Of Iwo applied for admission into the United States at PEACE BRIDGE PORT OF ENTRY. A United States Custom And Border Protection database query and biometric fingerprint scan revealed Adeonigbagbe Segun Adewale was previously convicted in the United States in 1998 for forged instruments. Further records checked revealed the defendant was subsequently deported from the United States back to Nigeria in 1999. Assistant U.S Attorney Michael DiGiacomo was the one handling the case.
United States Attorney Willam J.Hochul, Jr. Western District Of New York announced on August 9, 2011, that Segun Adewale Adeonigbagbe,46, of Nigeria, pleaded guilty before U.S District Judge William M. Skretny, to attempting to re-enter the United State after being deported following his conviction on an aggravated felony. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, a fine of $250.000 or both.
Sentencing was scheduled for November 21, 2011 at 9.00 am Buffalo, New York, before Judge Skretny.
