Legendary Tanzanian rapper Mwana FA is the latest celebrity to test positive for coronavirus. The rapper confirmed himself that he had been infected and was in self-isolation in a bid to curb the spread.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, March 19, evening, Mwana FA said he had gone for tests and the results came back positive. The rapper stated he was forced to go for the tests after experiencing some cold and flu moments after landing from South Africa.

Mwana FA urged fans not to worry about him because he was feeling very fine and not sickly. ”I did some tests yesterday, the results came back and I tested positive. The reason I went for the test is that I started feeling unwell after landing from South Africa,” he said.

The star used the opportunity to confirm to his fans that indeed coronavirus is real and that they should take care of themselves to avoid infection. Following his announcement, fellow celebrities and his fans flocked his social media pages to wish him well.

FA becomes the second Tanzanian celebrity to contract coronavirus after Diamond’s manager Sallam SK.
