Portable Went To Police Station Himself, Wasn’t Arrested – Management

The management of controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, has stated that the singer wasn’t arrested, adding that he went to the station by himself.

This was made known in an Instagram post on Portable’s page on Saturday.

The statement read, “Remain calm as everything is under control. We are writing this for those reaching out to us. Portable was not arrested, he went to the police station himself to honour the invitation of the police.

“Police is our friend. We trust and believe the force will carry out their investigations and everything will be done appropriately. We are positive that all will go well as he is with the CP and the issue is being attended to.”

It added, “Thanks to everything reaching out we trust in the police force to do their investigation diligently. We are positive.”

The singer landed in police custody on Friday and will remain there till Monday.
