Popular Lagos Eatery Bukka Hut Co-founder, Laolu Martins Reportedly Commits Suicide

The co-founder of the popular Lagos eatery, Bukka Hut, Laolu Martins has allegedly committed suicide. This was disclosed on Twitter by journalist, Eniola Daniel.

”Founder of Bukka Hut, commits suicide. The founder of Bhukka hospitality limited, Laolu Martins was said to have committed suicide around 3.a.m today in Lekki, Lagos. So sad.

A friend of his and other sources claimed he committed suicide for a reason I don’t want to state here.” he wrote

His family has released a statement confirming his demise but stated that he died on Tuesday, September 27, and not Wednesday, September 28.

May his soul rest in peace.
