Police Arrest Two Men For Killing Boss, Daughter

The Ondo State Police has arrested two security guards who allegedly killed their boss Kwakye Kwaku Richard, 71; and his daughter Kwakye Tope, 27.

After committing the crime, the men were said to have hidden their remains in an uncompleted building in Akure, the state capital.

The State Commissioner of Police, Undie Adie, disclosed this to journalists on Tuesday, while parading the suspects, Ayuba Idris, 20; Taisu Abubakar, 23; and three others at the commands headquarters in Akure.

According to the Commissioner of Police, Ayuba was arrested in Kano State on May 16, 2019, while the GSM phone and the suit of the missing man were recovered from him.

Subsequently, he led the detectives to a building in Ojomo Akintan Estate, Olu Foam, Ilesa/Owo Expressway, Akure where the decomposed bodies of the two missing persons were found and evacuated to the mortuary.

The other guard and suspect, Taisu, was later tracked down in Sokoto State with the laptop, computer and clothes belonging to Kwakye.

Also paraded was one Lawrence Adebayo, 54 and Martins Adetoye, 47, who reportedly broke into a car parked at the premises of a bank in Akure and stole a sum of N450 thousand.
