Oluwo Of Iwo Invites ‘Thugs’ In His Domain For Wining And Dining

Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo land has invited neglected youths in his domain for dining and wining today.

The monarch vowed to rehabilitate the boys, who have been branded thugs.

In a statement, he said that his palace has set funds aside for this class of people, emphasizing that being a royal father, he is interested in catering for all strata in his community.

“ You will see me visiting the neglected immobile aged under their roofs while I equally feed the orphans in my palace. I want to extend the same gesture to the youths who are called thugs, the statement read.

The king stated that some of these youths are neglected and judged nuisance saying he is going to make sure they are properly taken care of and integrated into the system of Iwoland.

Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi said he has set funds aside to promote their talent and would wine and dine with them to exchange words of hope with these youths.

The king disclosed that the 2020 end of the year Oluwo- youths engagement is scheduled for Thursday 31st December 2020 by 4:30 pm.

He has invited orphans and the less privileged to join the session stating that there will be food and drink for all and sundry at the event.
