The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that 179 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria on Wednesday, October 14.
The health agency gave a breakdown of the new cases as follows; Lagos-116, Anambra-20, FCT-9, Oyo-9, Rivers-9, Delta-3, Nasarawa-3, Edo-2, Kaduna-2, Ogun-2, Plateau-2, Ekiti-1, Osun-1.
There are now 60,834 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria and 1,116 deaths have been recorded. 52,143 patients who recovered from the disease have also been discharged.
