Nigeria on Friday recorded 10 COVID-19 related deaths.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) made this confirmation in a tweet on Friday.
The agency had while confirming 245 new cases of the deadly disease, said Lagos State recorded the highest number with 131 cases, while Jigawa State followed with 16 cases.
The number of deaths have also jumped from 211 on Thursday to 221.
NCDC added that Nigeria has so far recorded 7261 cases and 2007 patients discharged.
