Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has expressed the need for a restructuring of the country.

She stressed that every geopolitical region dislikes the way the nation is presently constituted.

She made this assertion while speaking at the ‘Restructuring Summit’ organized by the Restructuring Actualisation Movement in Abuja on Thursday.

The former education minister expressed that Nigeria had failed in the practice of democracy, federalism, and constitutionalism.

She also noted that restructuring was the only way to save the nation.

Ezekwesilli also called for a people-oriented constitution, arguing that the 1999 Constitution was not serving the people.
