In a video on his Church’s official YouTube handle, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has finally shared his view on Nigeria’s position in restoring democracy in Niger.

Cautioning Nigerian leaders, he said no man pursues a Rat while his house is on fire. Remember that President Tinubu, the ECOWAS Chairman, has maintained that democracy ‘must’ return to Niger.

According to Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka from the video (53:56): “Nigerian leaders who are thinking about how to go to Niger and help the democratic government to come back, you don’t know what you are doing. No man chases a rat while his house is on fire. Your house is on fire and you are pursing a Rat while your family is inside the house. Those who set the house ablaze are coming with buckets of fuel. Save your house first. The people are hungry.”
