Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has said he holds the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in high esteem despite their political differences.

Edochie, a known supporter of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, said Obi would get his shot at the presidency in the future but the next eight years are for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said he believes that President Tinubu would “fix Nigeria for the good of all Nigerians” before the expiration of his eight-year tenure.

On his Instagram page, Edochie wrote, “I have a lot of respect for Peter Obi. I will never insult him. He’s a great Nigerian.
“His time will come, if God Almighty wills it. This time is for Jagaban. The next 8 years is for President Tinubu. And within that time, he will fix Nigeria for the good of all Nigerians.”
