Abdulrasheed Bawa, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has disclosed that the number of governors on the anti-graft agency’s watchlist has increased.
Briefing reporters at the State House after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, November 17, Bawa declined to say the number of governors currently under the agency’s radar, neither did he reveal their identities.
He also said that the redesign of the naira note will help the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) control the monies in the system and by extension, enable more money for people to borrow.
