UK based blogger and GIOTV host has expressed shock and outrage after the Nigerian government announced the indefinite suspension of the tech giant’s operations in the country.
The authorities’ move came two days after Twitter had temporarily suspended the account of President Muhammadu Buhari for violating the social media company’s “abusive” behaviour policy.
Buhari’s account was put on hold for 12 hours after he threatened punishment for regional secessionists blamed for attacks on government buildings.

In a vague statement on Twitter, which did not clarify when the move would come into force, the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture said the social media platform was being used for activities “capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence”.
Maureen Badejo asked few questions from her viewers;
1. Why did twitter delete President Muhammadu’s Buhari tweet and left Nnamdi Kanu’s own?
2. Why is Buhari always blowing hot as if the Eastern part is not part of the country?
3. What is the implication of banning Nigeria twitter?
4. What is the solution to Nigeria present situation?
Maureen Badejo further said she is not in support of banning twitter in Nigeria because twitter is for educated people alone and this is the major platform that federal government is using, so it is not reasonable for the president to act in such erroneous decision.
