Man Kills His Son Over Food in Abia

The man identified as Marcel Udeh allegedly shot and killed his teenage son over food at Eziama Lokpaukwu village in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.

 

It was gathered that the man returned home and discovered that his son had eaten the remaining food in the pot without permission.

Enraged, the suspect dashed into his room, brought out a gun and opened fire on his son, killing him instantly.

A video posted online shows Udeh, with both hands tied and placed on the lifeless body of his son.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Maureen Chinaka, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, February 27, said that the suspect has been arrested.

“We got a report at Umunneochi Division, the suspect has been arrested. The matter has been transferred to the SCID for discreet investigation and will be
charged to court afterwards,” the PPRO said.
