Lightning strikes and kills an IMSU student.

A first-year student at Imo State University Owerri was killed by lightning (IMSU).

According to reports, the lady identified as Chiamaka Obodo was killed by lightning after a heavy downpour.

According to information gathered, the 20-year-old was making a phone call inside her parents’ house in the Obilubi Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State, when lightning struck.

She died on the spot before help arrived.

The deceased’s body has been taken to the nearest morgue.

On June 17, 2022, she will be laid to rest.
