The Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Rivers State, David Rogers Irimagha, is dead.
GIOTV reports that although the cause of his death is yet to be made public, their sources said that he died in his sleep.
“He was found dead in his sleep this morning,” a source, who spoke in confidence, said, adding that the entire council had been thrown into mourning.
The deceased was among the second-term elected chairmen inaugurated in April 2021 after the local government election in the state.
