Emmanuel Amidu, a Junior Secondary School 2 student at Simple Faith Schools in Agbara, Lagos State, died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Surulere.
Akinola Amidu, the victim’s father, claimed that the 12-year-old was flogged by a teacher when he arrived at school on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
He claimed that his son began vomiting shortly after the beating and was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
