Lagos Road Collapses After Years Of Neglect

A portion of the road that connects Ikotun roundabout to Ejigbo and surrounding communities in Lagos State has experienced a collapse.

Residents said the road which is just by a canal caved in after the downpour on Saturday, September 16.

Motorists plying the route were seen filing into a single lane as they alternate the damaged part of the road.

Residents said the road was gradually damaged by erosion over the years. They however added that it was left unattended despite the series of complaints made to the government.
