In a shocking turn of events, the Labour Party has emerged victorious in the Bogoro councillorship election in Lusa B Ward, Bauchi State, without even fielding a candidate. According to the Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission (BSIEC), the Labour Party received 2,200 votes, the highest number of votes cast in the election.

This unusual outcome has left many stunned, as the party did not have a candidate in the running. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Lucy Ahmadu Yusuf, came close with 2,168 votes, but ultimately fell short of the Labour Party’s tally.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Mbam Masoyi, trailed behind with 275 votes. The returning officer, Daniel Gambo, announced the results at the collation center in Bogoro, leaving many to wonder how the Labour Party won without fielding a candidate.
