Alhaji Alarape Salman, the first Attorney-General in Kwara state has been confirmed dead at the age of 81.
Salman who was also a former Commissioner of Justice died on Sunday in Ilorin.
The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has now reacted to his death.
He described his death as the end of a great era.
The governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, “commiserates with the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, and the Nigerian Bar Association on the sad development recalling the meritorious service of the late sage to Ilorin, the state as a whole, and to the law profession.”
