The kidnappers who abducted five brothers in the Pegi community, Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have demanded N30 million ransom.
Recall that the kidnappers invaded a housing estate in Pegi and abducted Jubril Abdullateef, 22; Sherifat Abdullateef, 20; Muyidat Abdullateef, 13; Nura Abdullateef, 18; and Nahimat Abdullatee, 9. Here
A relative, who confirmed the development to Daily Trust, said the kidnappers contacted the family on Wednesday, November 18, demanding the said ransom.
According to him, the kidnappers used the phone they seized from the mother of the five children, Latifat Abdullateef, to communicate with one of the closest relatives of the family.
“The family was able to establish contact with the kidnappers on Wednesday evening, as they are demanding for N30 million ransom before they will release them, even though negotiation was still ongoing,” he said.
