Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Plateau State University, Bokkos, (PLASU), Dr. Jurji Gomos, has regained freedom.
He was kidnapped by a gang of criminals on Friday.
The assailants stormed his residence, forcefully grabbed and took him to their hideout.
Gomos was in captivity for about 20 hours.
His release was confirmed by the PLASU VC, Prof. Yohana Izam.
“This followed spirited efforts by the Management and Staff of the University, security agencies, family and associates of Dr. Gomos.
