Sani Idris-Muhammed, a Kano State native who was doing the this year, passed away in Saudi Arabia.
Idris-Muhammed from the Madobi Local Government Area passed away in a general hospital in Mecca on Saturday, August 6, following a brief illness, according to Alhaji Muhammed Abba-Danbatta, the executive secretary of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, who confirmed the development.
“The deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites at Grand mosque at Masjid Haram Shira yard in Mecca,” he stated.
Abba-Danbatta prayed for the deceased and consoled his family.
