Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe, has alleged that his house in Nnewi in Anambra State, has been razed by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Igbokwe, who made the claim via his Facebook account, disclosed that the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, adding that the IPOB were behind the attack.
He wrote, “IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now. Iam sure they raised down the my house giving the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from their Sienna car via CCTV. To God be the glory.
I am still alive. My Study is my greatest regret. ”GIOTV reports that Igbokwe has been vocal in his criticism of alleged violence by IPOB, a proscribed group led by Nnamdi Kanu.Earlier this year, the APC chieftain revealed that the IPOB leader asked his men to behead him anywhere he is found.
Meanwhile, the IPOB members had yet to react to the alleged attack as of press time.
