JUST IN: Olabisi Onabanjo University Makes Crucial Announcement On School Resumption

Students of Olabisi Onabanjo University have been given an update concerning school resumption.

The Management of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago – Iwoye has issued a statement to guide students concerning resumption.

The school on Monday advised students of the institution to await an announcement on the resumption before returning to school.

OOU Deputy Registrar (Corporate Affairs), Niyi Oduwole, in a release, stated that the university was aware of the recent directive by the Ogun State Government for tertiary institutions in the State to resume from 21st September 2020 but added that the Management was taking necessary actions and protocols to ensure safe reopening.

“This is to inform the General Public that the Management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye has called on its students and visitors to the institution to await a formal announcement on the exact date for resumption of academic activities in the University,” he stated.

According to Oduwole, the University Registrar, Mr. Femi Ogunwomoju, advised all stakeholders, especially, parents, guardians, and students to be on the lookout for the formal announcement on resumption by the University.

He particularly urged all the students to await the formal announcement on the exact date for resumption before returning to Campus.

The Registrar further assured that necessary actions and protocols are being taken to ensure the safe reopening of the University.
