Just In: CAN, Kumuyi To Host Sanwo-Olu

Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos State chapter has disclosed plan to host the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, to an interdenominational thanksgiving service on Sunday.

It also said that the gathering would pray for good governance in the state.

A statement issued by the Chairman of the planning committee, Rt. Rev STV Adegbite; and Secretary, Bishop Theophilus Ajose, said the thanksgiving was to praise God for a peaceful transition in the state.

The statement read, “Notable clergymen and fathers of faith across the country and denominations and other eminent personalities will attend the service in honour of Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, organised by Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos State chapter to praise God for the peaceful transition in the state.

“Over 50,000 people across various denominations will attend the programme and pray for good governance in the state. The programme will hold at the Deeper Life Christian Ministry. The host is the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Pastor Williams Folorunsho Kumuyi.”
