Just In: Billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana released from EFCC custody

Billionaire businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana, has reportedly been freed after being detained by the EFCC.

A friend of the socialite, Instigator PH made this revelation in an Instagram post moments ago.

“Thank u Jesus!! @obi_cubana is free. We gat Jesus!!! . Dis Dance is for all my fans. I love u all…. Breaking newz, Obi Cubana is free. confirmed by me. Only 1 instigator”, he wrote.

It can be recalled that the entrepreneur was arrested on Monday, November 1, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged money laundering.

According to reports, his case bordered on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Meanwhile, Ebele Iyiegbu, wife of billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana has broken her silence following reports that her husband has been arrested by EFCC.

She shared photos of him on her page, describing him as a strong, resilient, and hard working man, while praying that this phase would pass soon.
