Twenty-four hours after the Cross River State government declared 35 youths wanted for cult-related activities, a Navy Victory Ship, NNVS, has arrested 61 persons performing initiation sessions in Akpabuyo creeks.
Out of the 61 suspects, 42 were said to be among those declared wanted and were handed over to the state government.
NNVS commander Rear Admiral Vincent Okeke said on Tuesday that the suspects were arrested on Sunday following a tip-off.
