Below is a list of the candidates with the highest score in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination ( UTME).

3) Ojuba Mezisashe Shalom – 359

4) Elikwu, Victor Chukwuemeka – 359

5) Adebola Oluwatobi Paul – 358

6) Gboyega Oluwatobiloba Enoch – 356

7) Ojo Samuel Oluwatobi – 355

8) Utulu, Jebose George – 355

9) Osom Akan Awesome – 353

10) Akakabota Fejiro Simeon – 352

11) Ogundele Favour Jesupemi – 352

12) Alatise Monsurah Bisola. – 352

13) Adelaja Oluwasemilore Daniel – 352

The national minimum benchmark for admission into universities has been approved as 160 by the 20th Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.

The mark approved for admission into private universities through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination is 140.

For polytechnics, a mark of 120 was approved while 100 was approved for Colleges of Education, innovative enterprises, and institutes.

The meeting which held virtually saw the JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, urging tertiary institutions against increasing screening charges.
