The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said the fire of God will consume those behind the abduction and murder of traditional rulers in the country.

Pastor Adeboye said anyone who attempts to interfere with Nigeria’s traditional rulers will not find peace.

He spoke during the church’s monthly Holy Ghost Service programme tagged ‘From The Mountain Top 2’.

“The fire of God will consume all those trying to mess around with our traditional rulers.

“Because, as far as God is concerned, traditional rulers are anointed,” Adeboye said.

Recall that the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Olusola, and the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Ogunsola, were assassinated on Monday while returning from a meeting in Irele-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Some students and instructors were also kidnapped in the coordinated attacks, with the gunmen making a comeback on Thursday.

The Koro of Olukoro, General Segun Aremu (retd), in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, was also killed in his palace while his wife was abducted.
