Music star, Davido, has revealed the inspiration for the artwork on the cover of his latest album, “Timeless.”

He made this known during an interview with the Los Angeles Hip Hop Afternoon Show, ‘Cruz Show’, on Friday.

According to him, the artwork for the album was inspired by his late son, Ifeanyi, who loved nature, and he stated that the elephant on the album was his son’s favourite animal, and the bird on the cover represented him.

He said, “The (Timeless) artwork is to represent a lot of things in my life. I lost my son last year. He loved nature, he loved trees, his best animal was like an elephant. If you look at the cover, you will see an elephant and see a bird on the left and that represents him.

“Half of the songs, he was with me in the studio with me recording.”

The singer used his late son’s picture as the official cover art for his album, ‘A Better Time’, which was released in 2020.
