The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate in the last presidential election, Atiku Abubakar says despite his loss in the elections, he would remain active in Nigerian politics.

He pledged to keep working with relevant stakeholders particularly the younger generation to ensure that the country reaches its full potential.

Atiku stated this on Monday during an international press conference at the party’s Secretariat in Abuja.

The former vice president was also reacting to the verdict of the Supreme Court which upheld the election of President Bola Tinubu.

Contrary to insinuations that the former VP may have ended his political career after several failed attempts to be president, Atiku declared that he is not going away.

He said, “If you think I’m going to go away, forget about it. For as long as I breathe, I will continue to work for Nigerians to reach their potential.

He accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC of compromising the last election, insisting that Tinubu was not qualified to contest the poll.

Atiku also said INEC took sides while defending the outcome of the February 25 election at both the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal and the Supreme Court.
