Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh has refuted claims of being arrested and detained.

The movie star, via her Instagram page, noted how rumours have been peddling around of her being arrested.

Refuting the claims, Tonto stated that she was never arrested neither was she detained by the police or any law enforcement agency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She made it known that she is in her house enjoying the goodness of God.

Tonto noted how she is a law abiding citizen and in her position as a member of the diplomatic society, she owes a higher duty to live above board in all she does. She avowed that there is a world difference between helping law enforcement agencies to effectively do their jobs and actually getting involved in crimes.

The single mother of one, made it know that at no point in her life has there ever been a search warrant, arrest warrant or any other form of warrant from the Nigeria police to her humble self.
