Gunmen Kidnap Judge And Her Driver In Akwa Ibom, K!ll Her Police Orderly

Unknown gunmen have shot dead a Police Orderly and kidnapped the High Court Judge of Oron Judicial Division, Hon. Justice Joy Unwana, alongside her driver.

According to reports, the victims were riding along the Uyo-Okobo Road in Okobo local government area when they were attacked by the assailants on Monday, December 21. The suspected kidnappers fatally shot at the SUV, killing the Police orderly instantly before whisking away Justice Unwana and her driver to an unknown destination.

The judge had just risen from her court and was on her way home when the assailants struck.

The state police command is yet to comment on the development.
