Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted two Priests serving at St Luke’s Catholic Church, Gyedna, Garam Ward in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State.
The priests have been identified as Fr Paul Sanogo and Seminarian Melchior and they were reportedly abducted in the early hours of Thursday, August 3.
Eyewitnesses told Daily Trust that the kidnappers shot into the air for over an hour before they whisked away the two priests.
Their abduction has been confirmed by the Catholic Bishop of Minna, Most Rev Dr Martin Igwe Uzoukwu.
