Gunmen, on Thursday night abducted a former speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abdulmumuni Ningi.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Bauchi, Ahmed Wakil, who affirmed the occurrence to newsmen on Friday morning said the previous legislator, was captured inside Bauchi city.

Wakil said the shooters stole the legislator and drove away in their vehicle.
