Barely two weeks after the dethronement of Muhammad Sanusi II as the Emir of Kano, a group called All Nigerian youth project, has kicked off 2023 Presidential Campaign for 2023 for the deposed Emir.

The campaign was officially kicked off in Kaduna Friday evening after almost two weeks of social media campaign, with the organisers vowing to drag Sanusi to court if he turns down call to contest presidency.

Addressing journalists at the flag-off of the campaign, the National Coordinator of the “All Nigerian Youth Projects”, Dr. Suleiman Shinkaffi, appealed to all other Nigerians with Presidential ambition for 2023 to bury it.

Shinkafi said, Nigerian youth were determined to support Sanusi to become the next President of Nigeria to savage the nation from its current challenges of Boko Haram insurgency, banditry, kidnappings, herdsmen/farmers crises, killings among other criminality.

According to him, “We’re all Nigerian youth project agitating for Sanusi. With the situation in the country now only credible and stainless candidate, that is acceptable to all that’s needed. And we believe that Sanusi is acceptable to all and intellectually sound to turn things around for better for this country. Nigeria is a sinking sheep and need someone of high intellectial abiliyy like him to rescue the country. Baba Buhari has done his best.”

He added that the movement was ready to give Sanusi the same supports they gave Buhari in 2015 by contributing money to sponsor his campaign, buy his nomination form, recharge cards, provide logistics among other things to support him to emerged the Nigeria President in 2023.

Shinkaffi, who was in company of other stakeholders from across the North and Southern parts of country, said they’re calling on Sanusi to agree to come out and contest for the President by all means, saying they’ll not vote any other person other than Sanusi.

He said should Sanusi refuse, the youth were ready to force him or drag him to court to compel him to agree to be next president of Nigeria, come 2023.

According to him, the youth decided to come out early to nominate and inform Sanusi to prepare for the context before any other candidates with similar ambition.

Shinkafi argued that, the agitation behind the project cut across the six geopolitical zones, irrespective of religion, ethnicity and tribal differences.

The Coordinator also informed that contacts for zonal and states chapter of the movement have already began to take shape.

He continued that over one hundred thousand people have reportedly indicated interest for Sanusi, while over 100 million supporters have been targeted for the 2023 project.
