Governor Kayode Fayemi has relaxed the curfew imposed following the violence that erupted in Ekiti state he governs.
Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Akinbowale Omole said the 24-hour curfew has been reviewed and would now be in place between 8 pm to 6 am.
The statement read;
“This is to inform the general public in Ekiti State that the state government has reviewed the period of the ongoing curfew.
“It is now from dusk to dawn, starting from 8 pm to 6 am.
“All members of the public are to go about their normal businesses without fear of molestation.”
